Spiritual Condition of America-Independence Day
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:34 (KJV)
First, we wanted to wish everyone a happy Independence Day. Unfortunately, many Christians aren’t as proud of America as we were last year at this time. It is saddening to see how America has compromised its Christian values and has conformed to the flimsy standards of this world, instead of holding fast to the Word of God.
The book of Proverbs makes it clear that when a nation compromises, and says that a lifestyle of sinfulness is protected by a man-made law, and ignores the very lucid commandments of God’s Law, it is a reproach to any people.
Marriage equality is NOT a civil right. Civil rights are something that are already protected in God’s Law that require additional protection by a man-made law in order for a country to accept them as valid. As is the case with the Civil Rights Movement, the Bible affirmed that all men were created equal, and we wanted our country to recognize that right that we already had according the Word of God. Marriage between a man and a man and a woman and a woman is condemned by God’s Law and is therefore NOT a civil right, it is an abomination.
The Bible makes it clear that the nation that accepts such “abominable customs” is worthy to be “spewed out” because the “land is defiled”.
That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that [were] before you.
Leviticus 18:28 (KJV)
America is playing with fire, and we must pray that America wakes up before God pours out His righteous and holy wrath on America for its acceptance of what the Bible calls “abominable customs”. Will you pray for America, that it awakens out of its slumber and can stand tall on the Word of God, like it once did? Will you pray for the next leader that America elects, that he also will stand tall on the Word of God and lead this nation with the obedience of God in mind and not the obedience of man? Will you pray for the people who are in support of this law, that their souls may be converted and that they may come to the repentance of the acknowledging of the truth? Be blessed my friends.
