What is Fundamentalist Fire?
Many people have asked this question and how it relates to the Bible, but it is not as complicated as some may think. Fundamentalist fire is the zeal that all saved believers should possess to preserve, defend, and protect the five fundamentals of the Faith. So, maybe you’re asking what are the five fundamentals of the faith? Well, the five fundamentals of the faith are a set of assertions that we as Independent, Bible-believing, Baptist Christians make based upon the doctrine(s) presented in the sincere, pure word of God. These five fundamentals are as follows: 1. The inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture (Matthew 5:18) 2. The deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1) 3. The virgin birth of Christ (Matthew 1:23) 4. The substitutionary, atoning work of Christ on the cross (1 Cor. 15:4) 5. The physical resurrection and the personal bodily return of Christ to the earth. (Matthew 26:64; Acts 1:11) These five fundamentals of the Faith serve as the groundwork for our beliefs, morals, rights, and principles and are our guidelines for daily living in a secular world.
